Mission

Opening the Northwest Center for Photography, which not only has a gallery but also facilities for black and white wet processing as well as digital work, has been a life-long dream of Sharon Lavier O’Keefe.

Professionals with a wide range of specialties will offer classes and workshops. Her vision is to offer educational resources for photographers of all skill levels to learn to use their cameras while improving content, composition, technical and post-production skills. Lavier O’Keefe’s goal is to help others find the joy, passion and personal enrichment that photography and “learning to see” rather than “just looking” has brought to her life.

The i witness gallery will feature work by Northwest professionals, emerging photographers and pictures taken by students from the workshops.
